5 Useful Uses Of Windows UNDO (Ctrl+Z) Shortcut

CTRL+Z: Undo the last command, as known by us. And here are the best uses of the windows undo shortcut. What would we have done without it ? In case if you haven’t already here are some useful tasks that we mostly do with Ctrl+Z.

# Bring Back Items Deleted Accidentally
If you delete a file to the Recycle Bin from the explorer, Ctrl+Z brings it back. It even brings back a group of files you have deleted at once.

# Undo a File Rename
After renaming, if your realize you have renamed the wrong file, an easy fix is to use "Undo" (Ctrl+Z) to restore the filename.

# Undo a Local File Transfer
Recently I Cut + Paste my Songs Folder (13GB) from one Drive to another (wrong). In these cases, use undo immediately to go back to the original, instead of cut+paste-ing again.

# Bring Back Accidentally Deleted Text in a Text Editor
We do this always… select text and delete it… realize deleted to much … Just "Undo" to bring back the text. (I know a few people who don’t know this :P )

# Undo a Mistake in Paint, Photo Editing Tools
Till now, all the photo editing tools I have used, "Undo" works in all of them. Some have limits, like actions in MS-Paint can be undone to the last 3 levels (lowest). Otherwise… most have unlimited "Undo" actions.

Note: I have missed many…. I know.. plz leave your comments on how you use "Undo" in windows…
