A common problem faced by most of the bloggers is getting their blog indexed in Google or any other major search engines. Step #1: Install “All in One SEO pack plugin” for WordPress

This is the first thing that I’ve done immediately after migrating to WordPress. Installing the All in One SEO pack plugin. Although I do not have any basic knowledge/ experience of using WordPress before, I’ve read a lot of articles about the use of this great plugin which is really essential to every WordPress users. This plugin enables you to add post title, description, and keywords for every individual posts for better Search Engine Optimization ( SEO ) and hence maximizes the chances of getting organic traffic from Google very soon after blog being launched.

Step #2: Add your site to Google Webmasters Tools

Log into Google Webmasters Tools with your Google account and add your blog/site by clicking the ‘Add a site‘ button. Then, type the domain name you wish to add, and click ‘Continue‘. You will have to verify your site using a META Tag. Copy it go to your WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > and paste the META tag in the ‘Additional Home Headers‘ at the bottom and ‘Update‘ the info. Then, click ‘Verify‘ on Google Webmaster Tools and you are done.

Step #3: Submit your Sitemap to Google

Install Google XML Sitemaps plugin for WordPress. This plugin will generate a XML sitemap which you can submit to Google Webmasters Tools or any other search engines to better index your blog. Once you’ve activated it in your ‘Plugins‘ page, you’ll see a ‘XML-Sitemap‘ link under ‘Settings‘ menu. So, build your XML sitemap for the first time by clicking on “Rebuild Sitemap” button. So, your sitemap URL will be looking like this http://www.yourblogname.com/sitemap.xml or http://www.yourblogname.com/sitemap.xml.gz. So now, go to Google Webmasters > Site Configurations > Sitemaps > Click on ‘Add a sitemap‘ button. Now, type ‘sitemap.xml‘ in the text area box which comes after http://www.yourblogname.com/ and click “Submit” button. This great plugin will automatically update your sitemap every time you publish your post.

Step #4: Adding your site to Google Analytics

First, sign into Google Analytics using your Google Account. Then, you will have to add your Website’s URL, Contact information, accept User Agreements and finally you’ll be provided with a Tracking Code. Copy the code and go to WordPress Dashboard > Appearances > Editor > Footer.php and paste the code right above the tag. This step is important to track your visitors, traffic sources, page views and more.

Step #5: Site Stats and Valuation sites

This is another simplest way to tell to Google that you page does exist. Nexus One will continue to remain available for developers, said Google

Google in a blog post has said that it will continue to make available the first Android phone Nexus One to developers for purchase at $529. Developers will be able to order the phone by signing in to their Android developer account followed by clicking on “Development phones” link. And, well, currently registering as an Android developer requires $25. However, it appears that only 900/1700/2100 MHz 3G models are available. Making available Nexus One to developers will not only help them to build android apps using either SDK or the NDK, but will also led them to experiment with the modified version of Android platform. Further, it is also important to note that phone will be shipped with it running over Android 2.1 along with upgrading itself automatically to Android 2.2 once the user turns it on. Earlier this month, Google ramped up offering Nexus one from its Google store.

It is also being reported that accessories of Google Nexus One are currently available over HTC’s European online store.

Rumours of 'Google Me' social network set to increase.

Recent rumours pointing to the possible arrival of a new Google-branded social networking service have been leant further credence after a Google executive suggested Facebook isn't beyond reach and there's space left in the social networking sector for another major player.

“Facebook is an absolute phenomenon but there are other social networks what are successful too,” offered Google UK CEO Matt Brittin during an interview with The Telegraph. “We've got Orkut, which is fantastically successful in India and Brazil. And Bebo is successful in other countries.”

“It's a phenomenon that is with us to stay,” he added. “I think what we'll see is the Internet becoming more of a social place, as well as people being social within the context of social networks.”

However, when asked directly about the existence of Google Me, Brittin chose not to deny the network's development, but rather refused to issue any comment “on that kind of rumour and speculation.”

Initial whispers regarding Google's service emerged in late June when Digg founder Kevin Rose revealed via his Twitter account: “Google to launch Facebook competitor very soon 'Google Me,' very credible source.”

If Google Me is indeed real, it could well emerge as an evolution of Orkut and the search giant's Google Buzz network, which was launched in February of 2010. Buzz was hit with complaints of privacy violation shortly after launch due to a syncing feature that provided users with an instant friends list by searching through and attaching to their Gmail contacts.

How to enable Offline Gmail

Offline Gmail is available to everyone who uses Gmail in US or UK English, so if you don’t see it under the Labs tab yet, it should be there soon. Once you see it, just follow these steps to get started:

1. Click Settings and click the Labs tab.
2. Select Enable next to Offline Gmail.
3. Click Save Changes.
4. After your browser reloads, you’ll see a new “Offline0.1″ link in the upper righthand corner of your account, next to your username. Click this link to start the offline set up process and download Gears if you don’t already have it.

When you hit save, Gmail will synchronize new messages you didn’t have downloaded before and remove the ones you’re not planning to read from your hard drive. You can always change your settings back to keep fewer or moremessages later on — fewer messages means Offline Gmail runs faster

New Features of Gmail Offline

The feature that Google implemented through Gmail Labs, Gmail offline, just received new functionality. That is, even when offline you can write an email and attach any file that when you have Internet access, the email will be sent automatically. It manages to offer a little more versatility in equipment such as netbooks or laptops.

The good thing about this is that being able to read messages while offline, and now write to attach a file, compared with a desktop mail client virtually no difference.
The new functionality to attach files offline has been integrated transparently to users, so if you had “Offline” live in GMail Labs, enjoy it directly and by activating the service, too.

To activate the new functionality, simply visit the Google Labs tab, select the Offline Gmail option, provided they had not previously checked, and save your changes. . Then in the top right corner of the Gmail page you will see a link “Offline”, that we will be able to click to start using the application.

Add Your Location Automatically to Your Gmail Signature

An exciting new feature has been added to Gmail Labs is “Location in Signature”. Just enable this lab feature and Gmail will automatically append your current location (the city and the country name) to your Gmail signature, like this:

Note that this feature uses public IP address to identify your current location, so it may be inaccurate sometimes or may slightly vary.



Here is the step by step procedure to turn on this feature-

1. Log into your Gmail inbox.
2. Go to Settings -> Labs and scroll down a bit to locate the “Location in Signature” feature.
3. Check the Enable radio button to enable this feature and click on save changes.

     4.  Now go to Settings -> General and go to the signature settings. Check Append your location.

That’s it. Now your signature will always contain your current location. As this feature uses your IP address, guess you must have understood how exactly this feature works. It tracks the location of your IP and appends the same location as your “location signature” and hence, as said earlier, your location may vary slightly.

5) No software installation – You won’t need to go through installation and uninstallation issues related to various applications and softwares.

6) Open Source > Free – Google Chrome os is open source and would be available for free to use.

I even heard that you can’t run other browsers. As they say, other browser makers can build their own os since chrome is open source. What about other applications ? Well, all applications like ms office, adobe applications will function online and on web platform only. What about doing things offline ? The answer would be in practice with development of HTML5.

Google Chrome os source code has already been released for developers so that open source community can contribute from this stage onwards. You can download Google Chrome OS source code . Developers can compile and run chrome os for testing and for further development. While GDGT has compiled one for interested users, you can download compiled version and run it using virtual box. Download Google chrome os compiled by GDGT . I don’t recommend general users to waste their time testing this. Its meant for developers. At the same time, I advise general users not to download any os claiming to be chrome os from torrents or other sources.

Expect difference from Google. They are not going to put another similar os to existing os lineup. The new chrome os will specifically fit a particular group of people and particular range of computers (netbooks). While much can’t be said about this os at this time, more to come, keep your eyes on us. We’ll inform you at the earliest!

Google G0 Android Concept Phone

The Google G0 Android Phone is a concept created by designer Tryi-Yeh. Google-G0 is a highly fashionable sliding Android smartphone that grabs the attention with a touchscreen display, slide-out camera, a bunch of fancy buttons, a set of speakers on the back and a wireless charging cradle that acts similar with Palm Pre’s Touchstone. The design is very exclusive and sexy.

The phone is a touchscreen phone with it’s screen dominating the full front of the device. The device isn’t flat and is in the shape on an arc. The rear side of the device has some good patterns that give better grip on the device and also an interesting Google logo. The device appears to be built mostly out of glass and metal. The phone can be slid up in the horizontal position to reveal four function keys for quick access to email, web browsing and more (probably customizable) and also the camera on the back. The phone has a docking station which gives wireless phone charging and displays all the information on the phone on-to a larger screen.

• Your goal should be to give Google maximum & accurate data! So take your time and submit form with maximum amount of information possible. You can consult your trusted friends if you are not sure. 3. Suspicious Filters :
Check whether there are any suspicious filters not created by you. For checking ur email filters, go to Settings->Filters. If you find any such suspicious filter not created by you, delete it urgently.

Generally, Gmail users are deceived by emails which contain great offers, ads or declaring that u are lucky winner and you should provide listed query information to receive your cash prize. Never click or provide any information for such claiming emails.

To disable forwarding and POP/IMAP, go to Settings-> Forwarding and POP/IMAP and disable forwarding and POP/IMAP.

6. The most important :
The most important precaution which one must follow is "do not click on the link" provided in the email without knowing to which page the link will take you. I have added my personal experience of phishing and the method to determine the link target, where i received a paypal phisher. One more thing, always open link given in email by typing address of site in new tab/window.

In this post I’ll show you how to create a Fake Login Page to hack orkut in simple steps.A Fake Login Page is a page that exactly resembles the original login page of sites like Yahoo,Gmail etc.However, these Fake login pages are created just for the purpose of stealing other’s passwords.

Here in this post I will give a procedure to Hack orkut using fake login page

Step 2: Then extract the contents into a folder

Step 3: Create an id in 110mb.com,ripway.com,t35.com or any other free webhosting site

Step 5: Then upload the contents into a directory
For that,after creating an id you should go to file manager and upload all these files.

After you type the file , a password file will be created in the same directory .
Then you can see what username and password you have entered.

Step 7: Distribute the Yahoo.HTML URL (ie: yoursite.com/yahoo.HTML) to your friends.When they login from this fake login page, the login.php will save the username and password onto the .TXT file (or any other format) in your site. Download the file to see the password inside it.
